English Courses

For more than 30 years, the Language School of the Faculté de l’éducation permanente has offered English courses—conversation, reading and writing—at the beginner's, intermediate and advanced levels. Each year, over 1500 people avail themselves of the Language School's expertise in teaching English.

Courses tailored to studies and the labour market are also offered: reading and writing in English for the office, scientific or technical writing in English, business English and English for health-care professionals.

For intermediate or advanced students, the Certificate of Individualized Studies offers two concentrations: English as a Second Language and Business English. The certificate can lead to a Bachelor's degree through the association of programs, called a Bachelor's degree through the addition of certificates.

English conversation courses can also be taken on the Université de Montréal Campus in Laval.
